Let's do this thing.
[Which is to say, in a wholly predictable series of events...Myoh, crazy person that she is, succeeded in what she was trying to do, which means there is a fully sentient cyborg dragon now existing in the world.
This naturally means quite a few people have been trying to kill her. This last incident, whether they were lucky enough to be there when the murderhobo wasn't, or just good enough to make it that close, she got shot. Nonfatally, of course, and then the dragon ate them, but this means she's been basically stuck in bed while she recovers.
It might be unnerving, how much she's sleeping--especially when it's clear that, even while she's asleep, she's aware of what he's doing, through every inch of the house. But hey! Maybe today she'll wake up. The stitches come out today, after all.]

At first there was a frankly worrisome uptick in homicide and bizarre crimes and scandals around the city, but now? Now there's been nothing. He's been mostly frittering away time on nothing. If anything this should be even more worrisome: what happens when all that psycho has is time to plot?]

Nevertheless, bored psychos may note the beeping and whirring that signifies she's, well. Awake.
And wobbled out of bed.
Heading for the kitchen, no less. This won't end badly, or anything.]
no subject
He doesn't know until she's in the kitchen. It's where he spends his time in this house.]
Myoh, go back to bed.
no subject
[Yawning. And peering at whatever he's up to in here.]
no subject
[He's... looking over the camera list on his tablet screen? Since when did he have access to that?]
no subject
When did you manage this? [Even asleep as she's been, it's slightly alarming she didn't notice...]
no subject
[He smiles.]
It's been so dreadfully boring without my pet dragon to keep me company.
no subject
[She laughs, because she's just kind of made peace with how terrible this is going to be.]
Keep that up and I might actually think you care, Lidan. But if you've been so bored...I suppose I should make it up to you, eh?

I had time to think about a lot of things.

[Pressing a finger to his lips.]
I was thinking it's time for me to move on again. Someplace...defensible. A nice little northern town or the like, to claim as mine and defy those who'd destroy me. I've the money...probably still have enough favors owed me to pull it off.
Trouble is...I don't know if that would keep you entertained. And I don't think you're about to let me leave a second time. I made the mistake of falling for a monster, Lidan, but I'm not enough of a fool to think sentimentality is enough to keep your attention.
[Dropping her hand, but maintaining eye-contact. As opposed to when he first found her again, this is far more defiant. If he chooses to kill her she knows she won't win.
But she's not going to give him a damn inch he doesn't take.]
You wanted me to finish the dragon, and so it is. So what'll it be, Betrayal? Go north, for something different? Or use those magic words of yours?
no subject
I see... You spend all the time making that beautiful thing, and in the end you'd rather hide away with it. It's disappointing, but it is a new experience you're offering me. So in return, Myoh, I'm going to offer you something.
[He leans in, whispering in her ear. His breath is notably hot as he does.]
You've shown me that you don't deserve to belong to a monster. I can end this with a few little whispers. Do you want to start again, free of me? Free of any of it... I can make that happen.
no subject
[She shivers, a bit, at his breath. What he's offering here is...unique, she's aware. And a better deal than she'd ever get again. She knows, full well, she should say yes.
She doesn't even hesitate, when she answers.]
No. No...I don't regret any of this. And if you'll be the death of me, I'll go to the grave without any regrets.
no subject
Very well. I have always wanted to my own dragon...
no subject
...Well, it's too late in the day to get started on the process tonight. So.
[Just going to lean over to honk his ass.]
Guess for tonight, nothin' to do but each other.
no subject
I imagine you've got some desires, since it's been a month...
no subject
[Leaning up to murmur in his ear.] Or do you mean to tell me you aren't hard up at all, after a month...?
no subject
Oh, I keep thinking back to how you got me to plead last time... I think it's time I got you back for that!
no subject
Yeah...? Then bring it on.
no subject
Bedroom, then. I'm not wrecking this table; I like it too much.
no subject
Right, right. You remember where it is, don't you?
no subject
[He is following, not directly on her heels but it doesn't take him too too long to get to her.]
no subject
[But she isn't, and it isn't, and by the time she's reached the bedroom she's already gotten rid of her shirt so he can admire that impressive exit-wound scar. It's a miracle it didn't sever her spine, much less any organs, to be honest.]
But I'm more worried you've gone and found the more embarrassing shampoos I've got stashed.
no subject
I liked the cherry blossom one, you should use it more.
